Meg Ryan was America’s rom-com queen in the ’80s and ’90s, with hits like When Harry Met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle, and You’ve Got Mail. But after a string of flops and tabloid drama in the 2000s—including a high-profile divorce from Dennis Quaid and a brief relationship with Russell Crowe—she stepped away from Hollywood.
Ryan, now 61, focused on raising her two kids, including son Jack Quaid, now an actor, and daughter Daisy, whom she adopted from China.
She also tried directing and is currently writing and producing.
Though she rarely appears on screen or at red carpet events, Ryan hasn’t ruled out a comeback.
